A fine little scissor scissor made of cast steel (outside the ground) in an ancient used state. The handle was hardened with beeswax and a few layers of flax oil and the crack of the handle was fixed with epoxy. The blade has been sharpened and works very well. It is a really nice ancient carpentry tool with many years of use in it.I tried to keep the original condition as much as possible, to leave the beaten roughness of the original handle to shine through. Total length: 25,5 cm. Blade width: 1.8 cm. Handle: sanded linen oil, light, beeswax, epoxy. Blade: sheffield steel cast iron, needs some sharpening/guiding, generally good condition (cleaned, re-refined).
This brilliant tool has been manually restored using hand tools to preserve the original state as much as possible.
