This is an exceptional primitive forge hand off set wood work scissors. There are no brands I can see, but it seems like it's 1700s.
Maybe made by a farmer doubling as a blacksmith back in the day. I don't know where it comes from exactly, but the man I got had a lot of primitive tools that came from a barn, probably in New Hampshire. The iron chisel is huge. 16-1/2 inches long x 2-1/2 inches wide.
Off set is also 2-1/2 inches. The pictures show the condition best. The handle is cracked but solidly solid on the iron.
A rare collection tool that you don't see too often.
